Dr. Hansen grew up in Sacramento, CA. She received her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Spanish at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and her medical degree at the University of Michigan. She was enrolled in the Ethics Path of Excellence at the University of Michigan Medical School. Dr. Hansen is a current pediatrics resident physician at UC San Diego/Rady Children's. Her interests include migrant health and the ethics of surrogate decision-making on behalf of pediatric patients.
